Competence development strategy

The aim of the competence development strategy is to draw attention to LIFE's attitude to competence development and to ensure that both managers and employees feel responsible for giving priority to competence development.

The purpose of competence development is to enhance the staff’s competences, taking into account LIFE's needs, the employees' labour market value and general developments. Continuous competence development is a prerequisite for LIFE continuing to be an attractive employer that can attract and retain the competent employees who are able to do the job for LIFE.

In other words – competence development is imperative for LIFE.
