Insurance_liability

Guest researchers who are not employed by the University of Copenhagen must take out a liability insurance before coming to the university as they will not be covered by the self-insurance of the University of Copenhagen. If they do damage and do not have insurance, they will have to cover for the damages themselves. If they cannot afford to pay for the damages, the claimant will have to cover the damages. If the claimant is the University of Copenhagen, then the self-insurance of the university will apply. Guest researchers are covered by the industrial injury insurance whether they are employed by the university or not.
