Faculties to receive DKK 30 million extra on proposed government budget

The newly proposed Danish Finance Act will result in extra money on the University's economic bottom line. The short term prospects look promising for KU, says University Director Jørgen Honoré.
 

The Government’s proposed budget plans are a big step in the right direction for the University of Copenhagen’s economy. The proposal will retract many of the former government’s budget cuts, and will instead grant DKK 300 million extra towards research and DKK 1 billion towards student increase on the national level.
