Management recommendation for a new Department of Chemistry
A new department under the Faculty of Science will be the hub for basic chemistry research and teaching. Internal transfers will be based on researchers' wishes.
The recommendation from Rector and Prorector and the deans on the future organisation of chemistry at the University of Copenhagen is now ready. The Management recommends the establishment of a new Department of Chemistry at the turn of the year. The department’s working title is The Brønsted Institute of Chemistry and it will be part of the Faculty of Science as a hub for research and teaching in basic chemistry.
