New textbook on chemical food safety.
Newspapers headline in January. “German dioxin in the Danish chicken production”. We are constantly reminded about the fact that today’s food sector is international, and that the number of chemical compounds that may find their way into our food constantly is growing.
Associate Professor, Doctor of Science (pharm) Leon Brimer from LIFE has written a new textbook on chemical food safety. The book will be published on 26 April by the international life science publisher CABI.
The new book is ideal for higher level students of food science and technology, nutrition and veterinary medicine world-wide. It gives competencies to understand, analyze and contribute to solutions of problems within chemical food safety locally, nationally and internationally.
The book will also be an indispensible source of knowledge for those working in the food production industry, as consultants and in national food authorities.
