KU becomes UCPH in English
Now you no longer have to guess or make up your own English abbreviation of University of Copenhagen.
We find many names for those we love, goes an old Danish saying, and this has certainly been true when trying to find an English abbreviation of University of Copenhagen. But this is to be no longer.
The University of Copenhagen Management Team, which consists of Rector, Prorector, University Director and the faculty deans, has now decided that the University’s official abbreviation in English is going to be UCPH.
