LIFE to offer two new study programmes in Animal Science

In June 2010, LIFE applied to the accreditation institution ACE Denmark for accreditation and approval of a new Danish-language BSc programme in “husdyrvidenskab”(Animal Science) and a new English-language MSc programme in Animal Science. ACE Denmark has now given their approval, and LIFE can thus offer both programmes from 1 September 2011.

The BSc and MSc programmes in Animal Science are new and coherent programmes which represent a strengthening of the teaching that has so far taken place in this field in the existing BSc programme in Natural Resources with the core module Animal Science and the existing MSc programme in Agriculture with the specialisation Domestic Animal Science. The new programmes will be offered in collaboration with the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at Aarhus University.
