The Survey has given us useful information about how prospective students first get to know about LIFE and which factors are decisive when deciding to apply for admission at LIFE.
The surveys shows that students first find LIFE or learn about LIFE primarily through online media, including LIFE’s web, and personal contacts.
When asked about which factors have been most decisive for their choice to study at LIFE, most students answer 'LIFE offered a full degree programme/courses which best suited my interest' and for European students the fact that ‘Europeans do not pay tuition fees’ and for non-European students ‘the opportunity to get a scholarship’ . But in addition to these perhaps rather obvious reasons, the respondents cite LIFE's high quality education and research as well as the University's ranking, the opportunity to study in Denmark, the career opportunities world wide with a degree from and LIFE’s international study environment as particularly decisive for their decision to study at LIFE.
In addition to these aspects, students also answered questions about LIFE’s websites, printed material, films, the use of online portals and adverts as well as social media and application procedures and study start activities.
