Landscape architecture workshop in Sardinia
Invitation to a workshop from 8 - 18 May in the Parco Geominerario of Sardinia (Italy), UNESCO world heritage.
The uniqueness of this workshop is beside the extraordinary landscapes of the former mine areas in Sardinia the opportunity to REALIZE landscape projects (inspired by a landscape approach and/or by LandArt) in various sites of the park area. The participants work together with local actors (former mine workers, forest workers, ...) and six internationally reknown landscape architects on the realization "in situ" of the projects or installations with permanent or ephimeral character.
This invitation is directed to students, former students, young professionals and others.
A special arrangement can be offered f.e. for PhD-students or film-makers who are more interested in documentation of the event or in research about this activity, which is a pilot project for a future annual festival of LandWorks on former mine sites of the Parco Geominerario in Sardinia.
