DSR at LIFE wins the 2010 International Study Environment Award
The LIFE Students’ Association, in Danish abbreviated DSR, will be presented with the International Study Environment Award this afternoon at the annual University Commemoration Ceremony that takes place between 14 and 16.
With a well organised intro programme, a mentor scheme and a special room for international students, the Life Students’ Association, DSR, has set new standards for a social study environment that does not distinguish between international and Danish students.
This is the reason why they are given the International Study Environment Award 2010 – in fierce competition with others who have also made successful efforts in the international field.
The award is accompanied by DKK 100,000 which DSR will use to further improve the international study environment, including the international room*, ‘Verdensrummet’

*in Danish the room for international students is called ‘Verdensrummet’, which literally means ‘the world room’, the Danish word for the Universe.
