Open house day at the Pometum on Sunday 26 September

An opportunity to experience more than 2,000 varieties of fruit and to taste some of them.

 

With its 2,000 varieties of fruit, the Pometum at LIFE is Danmark’s national gene bank and an important part of research and education at LIFE. September is the season for an abundance of exciting varieties, such as apples, plums, nuts, and grapes.

 

On Sunday 26 September between 10:00-16:00 the Pometum invites the general public to come to Højbakkegård and experience its fruits with all senses.

 

The event includes: guided tours, individual walks, demonstrations and presentations, sale of apples and apple trees, the opportunity to taste apple juice and to relax in the café with coffee and old fashioned apple cake.

 

Everybody is welcome – free admission
