Project at Department of Plant Biology and Biotechnology opens the eyes of upper secondary school students to LIFE
In the past week, six biology-biotechnology students have been responsible for teaching two biotech classes from upper secondary schools in Lyngby and Frederiksberg. The students spent Monday to Thursday in two of the laboratories belonging to Department of Plant Biology and Biotechnology where they carried out experiments that are difficult to do at the secondary schools where the necessary equipment and GMO approved laboratories are not available.
At the same time the upper secondary school students met a group of committed LIFE students and this opened their eyes to the opportunities at LIFE.
