The new structure of the new science-life science faculty up for debate
Deans of the Science and Life Science faculties have suggested reducing the 16 current departments into ten. The proposal will now be discussed at those departments.
The deans of the Science and Life Science departments unveiled their view of the future department structure at the open meetings on 20 September. During the open meetings, Per Holten-Andersen and Nils O. Andersen offered a rough outline of the proposal.
The two deans suggest merging Science and Life Science’s 16 departments into 10 new and larger departments. They have also initiated an analysis to determine where it is most strategically important for the four veterinary departments to be located in this new structure. See above.
