Parking at Frederiksberg Campus
Many staff and students have visited Campus Service over the last six months to get a parking license to put in the wind screen of their car.
In this connection, we have registered name, department and the registration number of the car.
A decision has now been made to introduce a permanent parking scheme at LIFE. The decision aims to ensure that there are enough parking spaces for LIFE’s staff, students and guests.
The agreement
LIFE has now entered into an agreement with the parking company easy:park.
This means that as from 6 June you will have to pay a fee to park at LIFE if you do not have a valid parking license.
The parking scheme is mobile phone operated. That is, parking tickets are bought using your mobile phone.
- The fee for parking without a license will be DKK 10/hour between 8:00 and 16:00.
- After 16:00 the fee will still be DKK 10/hour but it will be now also be free for residents with a valid licence for this Frederiksberg zone.
- Between 23:00 and 07:59 parking is free for all.
If you do not have a valid parking ticket or license, you will be required to pay a charge of DKK 590.
Control of licences
All the parking licences we have registered have now been sent to easy:park. This means that staff and students with a valid parking license may park at the Faculty’s area for free. In future, the physical licences will not be required in the wind screen as the registration number of the car functions as parking license.

Departmental administrators and heads of units in Faculty Services are kindly asked to go through the names related to their own department/unit and to make sure that the people registered belong to LIFE.
In addition to the PDF document related to your own department, please also check the document called “other” and the document called "students". We ask you to do this in order to ensure that all names are correct and that all persons are registered with the right department/unit.
Everybody who is currently holding a license is asked to check if their own name, department and REGISTRATION NUMBER are correct.

New licences in the future
In future, the practice will continue to be that new licences can be acquired at the Campus Service office, ’driftkontoret’, at Bülowsvej where a valid KU ID card or student ID card must be presented.
You will be asked to give your name, department/unit and registration number and to write it in BLOCK CAPITALS.
New licences cannot be acquired by mail.

Guests
Guests must be given a day ticket stating department/unit and date.
Departments / units can get guest tickets from the Campus Service office (driftkontoret) at Bülowsvej as from Monday 30 May 2011.

Changes must be sent to no later than Monday 6 June 2011.
