LIFE's projects singled out as ”best practice”
As part of Danish foreign policy, the Danish government development agency Danida has supported research into poverty eradication, causes of diseases and health systems for many years. The research results are used as an integrated part of Danish development assistance.
To ensure good quality in future projects, Danida and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs have published the report ”Lessons Learned from Danida supported Research for Health in Development – 8 Case Stories” with examples of ”best practice”.
Of the eight best practice projects mentioned in the report, three are from LIFE.
4: CESA – Cross-Disciplinary Risk Assessment of Taenia Solium Cysticercosis in Eastern and Southern Africa. Department of Veterinary Disease Biology.
5: Linking Human Nutrition and Fisheries Research in Bangladesh. Department of Human Nutrition.
