Björn Rozell new professor at Department of Veterinary Disease Biology
The Dean has decided to appoint Björn Rozell professor of Laboratory Animal Pathology at Department of Veterinary Disease Biology as from 1 September 2010.
Björn Rozell is a veterinary surgeon and comes from Karolinska Instituttet in Sweden, where he has worked with laboratory animal pathology for many years. Björn Rozell is very experienced in mouse pathology and will be cooperating with a large number of researchers at LIFE, other faculties and the pharmaceutical industry that use mice as laboratory animals. The appointment of Björn Rozell will greatly benefit LIFE and constitutes a strengthening of the elite research area Animal Health and Animal Models.
The Department will announce later when an inaugural lecture will be held.
