LIFE researcher Daniel Olof Pergament Persson, Post Doc at Department of Agriculture and Ecology, has received a 'Ung EliteForsk' grant from the research career programme Sapere Aude programme of The Danish Council for Independent Research. Sapere Aude is a talent development programme for the elite.
Daniel Olof Pergament Persson's research project is about
Proteins in the cereal grain – the solution to zinc deficiency?
and has the scientific title: Unravelling the role of endosperm proteins for zinc loading into the cereal grain.
