Creating a new PhD Course
You create a PhD Course the same way you create a BSc or MSc course – with two exceptions:
- You provide input only on the PhD tab
|
- The course description must be in English
|
-
In order to create a PhD course, you must
log in here using your Groupwise username and password. (Use Internet Explorer)
-
Click on the “Create Course” button at the top of the page you see after login.
-
Choose the category “Your drafts” in the drop down menu and insert the course title (can be altered later) – and click “Create”.
-
Choose the PhD tab farthest to the right.
-
Choose “PhD Course” in the drop down menu.
-
Fill in the categories below. All categories marked (*) must be filled in. However, the course number is added by the central administration later. Here is some
help for filling in the categories.
-
Click “save” when you have filled in the relevant categories.
-
Click “Back to List of Courses”.
-
You should now see your course description on the list. The course description must now be sent to your department administration. Click “To department admin. (PhD)” next to your course description.
-
Choose the relevant department in the drop down menu. If you are moving an existing PhD course, it is IMPORTANT that you write this in the note field.
-
Click “To department admin. (PhD)”
-
Here are the guidelines for moving an existing approved PhD course to the new course database.
