What is required in order to be principal supervisor?

BASICS

In order to be a principal supervisor, you must:

• Be employed at LIFE, University of Copenhagen
• Be employed at the level of assistant professor or senior researcher as a minimum
• Must have been actively involved in research at a scientific level for a number of years
• Must be a researcher within the subject area which the PhD project concerns
• Must have knowledge of the PhD programme
• The principal supervisor is appointed by the head of the graduate school on the recommendation of his or her superior (normally the head of department).
