Danish Minister Visits Faculty of Life Sciences - 22.08.2008

The Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Eva Kjer Hansen will visit the Faculty of Life Sciences on Monday 25 August.

Her visit primarily focuses on Department of Disease Biology, where she will discuss animal well-being, and Department of Human Nutrition, where she will learn about the Faculty’s work in the field of obesity research.

 

At the Department of Disease Biology, Head of Department Birgit Nørrung together with the professors Axel Kornerum Hansen, Henrik Elvang Jensen and Peter Sandø, will show Eva Kjer Hansen the new authopsy room and brief her about activities involving experimental animals, in particular pathology and ethics focussing on animal well-being.
