Campus café opens for the summer - 06.04.2010
One of the signs of spring is the opening of the popular Café Væksthuset in LIFE's gardens. The café, which was voted the Best New Café in Copenhagen when it first opened in 2008, is popular with students and local residents alike.
The café will be open all summer.
Until June, the opening hours will be:
Mon-Fri: 8:30-14:00
Saturday and Sundays closed
During the summer months, the café will also be open in the evening.
The café is situated in an old refurbished greenhouse in beautiful surroundings at Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen. It is a very popular place for students and citizens of Frederiksberg to enjoy a hot coffee or a cold beer with a sandwich or a plate of antepasti.

The café ”Væksthuset”, the Danish name for greenhouse, is situated in the protected garden of Frederiksberg Campus. Entrance from Grønnegårdsvej/Thorvaldsensvej. The café is sponsored by Danish Agricultural Advisory Service and run by students at LIFE - the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen.
