Film and photos from the anniversary celebrations in 2008

On 7 March 2008, students, staff and scientists celebrated the 150th anniversary of Frederiksberg Campus.

 

The celebration included breakfast, speeches, prize-giving and entertainment. Also, an anniversary exhibition was declared open by the Dean, Per Holten-Andersen.

On 23 May the Anniversary was celebrated again: The new café "Væksthuset" was opened and the plans for the future Frederiksberg Campus were revealed by the Mayor of Frederiksberg in the presence of Rector of University of Copenhagen, Ralph Hemmingsen,  Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences , Per Holten-Andersen, and prominent guests.

Afterwards the new art square entitled "Biological Diversity" was inaugurated by the Danish artist Bjørn Nørgaard and Minister for Culture Brian Mikkelsen. 1500 balloons were then launched and staff and students had lunch on the lawn at Grønnegårdsvej with live music and entertainment.
