International networks within higher education

Strategic alliances with leading universities around the globe is an important tool in the positioning and optimisation of the faculty's potential and in the internationalisation of the faculty.

LIFE is an active partner in national and international networks like NOVA, Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS), ICA and AGRI NATURA.

The networks are built on collaboration within education, research and consultancy support in both industrialised and developing countries.

	NOVA University Network (the Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural University Network) comprises nine Nordic forestry, veterinary and agricultural universities/faculties. NOVA's aim is to initiate, administer and promote educational cooperation between its members. LIFE has participated in NOVA since it was founded in 1995. 	Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) was created in 2001. The purpose of the network is to strengthen the educational programmes and position of the participating universities by sharing knowledge and the costs of developing and implementing MSc programmes taught in English. 	ICA is a network of European life science universities.
