Østerbro Kollegiet was transformed from a parking garage to a hall of residence in 2005 which gives the building a rustic and modern look. It is situated in Østerbro, one of the popular residential areas of Copenhagen. Østerbro offers a great variety of parks, cafés and shops. Østerbro Kollegiet is close to Østerbrogade, a street with excellent shopping opportunities as well as cafés and Park movie theatre and dance club.

Type of accommodation

The building consists of 5 floors and a total of 102 studio flats. LIFE has reserved 92 rooms in this residence and more will come over the next couple of years. The rest of the rooms are rented out to Danish students. Each floor has a common room with a balcony. There is also a large roof terrace.

All rooms are studio flats of between 17 and 26 square meters.

Each room has a private bathroom.

 

Kitchen

Each room has a private kitchenette with kitchen utensils provided.

 

Laundry

Laundry facilities (washers and dryers) are available in the building.

Internet connection is available in each room.

 

Transportation

Østerbro Kollegiet is located approximately 30 minutes from LIFE by public transportation. By bicycle, LIFE is approximately 20 minutes away.

 

Parking

It is possible to park in the street, but you cannot reserve a parking space, as parking is public.
