Shared Apartments
Copenhagen is an old city with old buildings and houses; many have been renovated and turned into apartments. Many Danish students share these apartments with friends and other students, mainly for financial reasons but the social aspect is also important. We have been inspired by this type of living arrangement and offer shared apartments to our international students and guests.
Options
We have 7 shared apartments on LIFE Campus, a total of only 22 rooms. The rooms are single and kitchens and bathrooms are shared. On top of this we have several shared apartments around the city (a total of 72 rooms). These apartments offer both single and shared rooms. Kitchens and bathrooms are shared. You will be sharing the apartment with other international students. For more information about a particular shared apartment, click on the name in the link section further down on this page.
Is a shared apartment right for me?
When trying to decide if a shared apartment is the housing solution for you, keep in mind that a shared apartment is a smaller environment than a hall of residence, but a good opportunity to meet new people in a more personal way.
A shared apartment will often feel more like a home and your “flat mates” will be like a family. However, sharing an apartment requires maturity and flexibility, as you must be prepared to solve problems and take part in the everyday routines; just like in a family.
Price range: DKK 3000-5350 per month. Deposit: DKK 2000. Utilities are included (except laundry in some apartments). When and how rent and deposit must be paid will be indicated in your tenancy agreement.
Please note: Prices may be subject to change. More information will follow with your tenancy agreement.
