Drives
C: drive:
The computers system drive. Don’t save any data on this drive. The computers C: drive is frozen and all changes will be deleted as soon as the actual user logs off. There is no backup of this drive.
P: drive:
LIFE offers students a 2 GB drive (P: drive) – this quota cannot be raised.
You can automatically access this P: drive when logging on to one of the student desktop PCs at LIFE.
Other students have no read or write privileges to this P: drive.
You can also access this drive from your laptop PC via WebDAV – see the WebDAV menu item (hot fix for Win7).
Q: and U: drives:
The Q: drive is used for temporary files and the U: drive is a study drive with read access.
Old DSR drives:
How to access your old drives (/data) on the DSR server:
Start > Run > \\dsrsrv.studvlan.kvl.dk\(username) – then log on using your DSR user name and password.
