| Objective | To give the faculty's international students an introduction to: - different types of exams at LIFE, with special emphasis on oral exams
- the Danish grading scale and the correct use of references
- presentation skills that can be used at oral exams, in class and in life in general

| Contents | Exams at LIFE Following a brief introduction to the different types of exams that you may encounter at LIFE, we will focus on oral exams. We may even show you how it works! Oral presentation skills Arne Steentoft - en experienced teacher and actor - will lead the second part of the event: a workshop that will boost your oral presentation skills! The workshop gives you tools that you can use to improve you oral presentation skills and - consequently - your ability to deliver clear messages in the exam situation. We will deal with the following questions: - How do I stay calm and keep track of my agenda?
- How do I make contact with the teacher and the external examiner?
- How do I use my body and my voice to support and emphasise my messages?

| Form | A mix of plenary presentations and exercises. There will be a large degree of participant involvement and you should be prepared to challenge yourself. You will be expected to do a tiny presentation in front of a small group, and you will get feedback from the group. |
