International Study Environment Award 2011 - 04.08.2011

At the annual Commemoration Ceremony on November 18th, the University of Copenhagen will again this year grant an award to an initiative which strengthens the international study environment at the university.

Students and staff are until September 26th, welcome to nominate individuals/units at the university for the award. It is allowed to nominate one’s own unit. Besides the honour, the award also comes with DKK 100,000 which must be used to further improve the international study environment.

Last year’s winner was The LIFE Students’ Association (abbreviated as DSR in Danish) accentuating that LIFE has established a well-organised intro programme, a mentor scheme and a special international room, all activities which set new standards for a social study environment that does not distinguish between Danish and international students.
