Summer School opportunity in South Korea - 18.04.2011
Each summer, the Yonsei University offers two summer schools that provide a wonderfully challenging and enriching experience for international students.
By including the summer program in our regular semester exchange program, you can choose from a wider variety of options to study at Yonsei University and get a chance to maximize your study abroad experience.
(1) Yonsei International Summer School
Yonsei International Summer School (YISS) opened its doors in 1985 and since then, it has become an integral part of campus life based on a unique blend of Korean and global cultures. This exciting 6-week summer program offers diverse courses in Korean Studies, East Asian Studies, Korean Language, Arts & Humanities, Business & Economics, Social Science, International Studies, and Science & Engineering.
In addition, cultural activities, social events, and excursions to various historical sites around Korea including field trips to Jeju Island and the Korean Traditional Village in Jeonju city will be also provided for students from many countries around the globe.
YISS invites you to join us for an unforgettable summer in the heart of Seoul.

(2) YONSEI-INDEX Design to Improve Life Summer School
YONSEI-INDEX Design to Improve Life Summer School (YIDSS) is a unique partnership between Yonsei University, and INDEX Design to Improve Life, the world renowned Danish design organization.
YIDSS has set out to educate students to become members of the next generation of global citizens and leaders through an experience-oriented, cross-disciplinary, cross-cultural and integrated learning environment.
As a student at YIDSS, students will learn methodologies for understanding large-scale global challenges, and you will receive the tools to help solve these challenges. The methodology and tools are taught through the user-focused, creative design thinking that lays out the foundation of Design to Improve Life.
