Industrial PhD
The Industrial PhD Programme
An Industrial PhD project is a company-focused PhD project. The project is conducted in cooperation between a private company, an Industrial PhD student and a university.
The student is employed and paid by the private company. The Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation pays subsidy to both the company and the university. You can learn more about the programme at the agency website.

For students
To get started, it is a good idea to consider which specific areas or projects you will be interested in. On the basis of this, you need to find a supervisor and talk to him/her about the opportunities for participating in the Industrial PhD Programme. Please contact LIFE’s Business Affairs for further help.
In the guidelines for the Industrial PhD programme you can read about the specific requirements for the programme.
