NB! New specialisation from September 2011:
Agribusiness and Innovation
Agribusiness and Innovation is a specialisation developed and taught in co-operation with Copenhagen Business School
The world faces a number of global challenges such as increasing demands on the supply of foods; increasing pressure on nature’s resources, changes in the environment and in the climate and demands on accessibility to healthy and safe foods.
These are general challenges which Agricultural Economics focuses on. However, economics does not give all the solutions to these challenges. Innovation is equally of key importance. The ability to make innovations is important to companies and governmental institutions, because
The world is constantly changing as are the demands of the world and new solutions are required.
